From our original idea to support local musicians by providing them with "Label Services"so giving their music a backing that enabled more radio airplay than before, to becoming a full Promotional Business and taking that original idea and now working for the artists, worldwide, making sure their music gains radio airplay on as many radio stations as possible. With that working nicely, we started a new venture and now we are Promoting live events which aim to bring entertaining theatre shows through a selection of theaters here in the UK. Bad Monkey will alwaysbe looking to find new ways of promoting artists and entertaining their audiences. And... Coming shorlty something new and something to tie everything together nicely!

Bad Monkey Theater Shows: Starting in 2026 Bad Monkey moved towards bringing you some great Live Events, both musical and spoken word to selected theatres in the UK. So far this has proved very sucessful and a few of the acts have already been rebooked for 2027! While we continue to provide independent musicians with the opportunity to have their music heard through one of our comprehensive Radio Campaigns now we bring that music to life, with both a selection of Tribute Acts as well as some original acts. The coming year sees several venues getting ready to let us host some Original, Independent act to the stage, so If you're a budding, local talent or even a recognised artist or celebrity in the industry and we look partnering with you to help achieve your goals on your journey.

Bad Monkey 101 Radio: Smart Radio (GY) was launched 23/10/17 & quickly became one of the fastest growing independent station in the area, our listeners loving the mixture of music we provided throughout a selection of live shows. Then Lockdown hit us hard, like many stations around the world & changes needed to be made. Now broadcasting as Smart Radio 101, along with a new website & some new presenters we went from strength to strength with the listeners continuing to support us. It seemed like this was our final destination, but not so! Bad Monkey was born and Neil & Terry moved into the world of Music Promotions & Theatre Promotions, helping to get unsigned, independent artists heard on radio stations around the world as well as hosting a selection of music & spoken word shows in theaters in the UK. This all needed to be tied together though, three ventures one Monkey so to speak & so the decision was made to change Smart’s name one more time.
Welcome Bad Monkey 101! The same great station, with a few changes here, with just a new name. Heck you cane even listen to us on Alexa still as Smart Radio 101 & through the website smartradio101.com (Bad Monkey 101 Alexa will be live shortly) But over time everything to do with Smart & the Monkey will be in one place & with one name. It will allow us to simplify and bring you more and the sounds you enjoy will continue, the Monkey is Smart after all!
You will be able to listen to Bad Monkey 101 on the Bad Monkey website, the free MyTuner Radio App (search for Bad Monkey 101 - Available right now!) as well as our own Free dedicated App Bad Monkey 101 on both Apple & Android for your phones & tablets, visit your relevant store & download ( Available 25/09/26) For all of you “Smarties” out there who already have the App it will automatically update on the 25th so watch out for that update & fear not, the Smart Radio 101 website is still live & will remain so for quite some time & you can still listen in on your Alexa as always, just say "Alexa play Smart Radio 101". At the same time the New Alexa Skill is just around the corner & once live you can activate it & say “Alexa Play Bad Monkey 101” we will let you know when it’s available.
